I've tried several ways to keep the bottom of my wooden chairs from scratching and rubbing the floor. When I found them I knew they were winners before I bought them. Measure your feet and note that there are square and rectangular feet. Do it right! The cups are like silicone and grip naturally without scratching the beautiful wooden legs. There were felt pads on the bottom that had been there for a month. Even if they fall off, I think a silicone cup would be better than a wooden one. I went for black ones and got some transparent ones. They both work fine.
