I have had these covers (chair and sofa covers) since September 2019. For the first year they worked well, staying soft and not rolling off the fabric of the facestock. They stayed in place well. I washed them probably 4 or 5 times in the first year. About 4 months ago two layers started to separate causing the bottom fabric not to work properly and the seats and armrests not staying in place. The fabric at the top is quilted with threads, but the fabric at the bottom is not. I think it's just quilted from the heat. Now most of the lining is hanging out in many places. The soft top fabric must be waterproof to prevent splashes from getting onto the upholstery. Well, it's not waterproof anymore. I left an ice pack on my couch for a while and unfortunately it leaked and I am now drying extensively on two seat cushions. Thank god it's only water! These items have not been subjected to gross exploitation. I have a 4 year old granddaughter and am 70 years old. I very rarely put on a bedspread on the weekends so people who come to visit don't sit on the furniture. So buyers beware! For the price I paid for these items I expect them to last more than 15 months.
