Shut down my phone!
I used it to carry my phone down the stairs. It worked well. After plugging it into my existing phone cord and outlet, my husband simply installed some clamps to secure the cord to the wall and I was done (5-10 minutes). My telephone works great and is also split, so it is also connected to the fax. I had no problems with either one.
