Works just like the original but much brighter than the stock halogen fog lights. More JDM yellow than amber, but it's grown on me. They turn on instantly, no flickering, no heating issues (it's cold at this time of year though). Inserting the actual LED bulb into the fog light housing was easy. The product fits my 2013 Subaru Impreza hatchback perfectly with no problems after removing the old light bulbs. I've only had it a week, so I can't comment on durability yet. FYI, for installation on a Subaru Impreza (or Crosstrek): Getting to the fog light housing is harder than I initially thought. You will need to jack up the car and remove the front fenders (just below the fog lights) or remove the entire front bumper. Once you get to the fog lights, you're done.
