Was fantastic now poor quality control

Have been buying this coffee for a long time and very happy with the price and the taste. As others have noted, it's quite strong, which is hard to find in K-cups. An added bonus is the environmental friendliness. However, I will no longer buy this coffee due to a significant deterioration in quality. A few months ago my box arrived with a paper in it that mentioned that due to a change in the material used, there might be slugging to allow the K-Cups to spread better. It didn't seem like a problem so I stuck with it, there was debris in the cup but nothing to ruin the coffee. The problem was that every 10,000 cups or so coffee grounds leaked into the cup. Not only sediment, but also a significant amount of grinding, which made the cup undrinkable. Worse, every now and then the cup would burst so I had to spend the next 10 minutes cleaning the Keurig area, see photos. I figured it might be an isolated issue so I decided to try a different box, but the result is the same. Approximately every 10th k cup will turn into what you see in the photos. The bottom line is that the company changed the design/packaging of the K-Cup without proper quality checking or possibly a lack of quality control. The few benefits of this coffee aren't worth the hassle of cleaning the Keurig after a K-cup break, and any savings are wiped out when multiple cups need to be re-brewed.
