Works very well. It's going to be a bit warmer, so a future version may have cooling fins to improve heat transfer. As long as it works as intended. I will update if it stops working properly. Update: It's only been a few days and the HDMI port on this unit is causing my external monitor to turn on and off intermittently. Also, my monitor now has a greenish tint when using this product. I downgraded my rating from 4 to 2 stars. The HDMI port may be faulty but other ports work fine and that is the only reason I did not give this product a 1 star. Update 2: The driver that needs to be installed for the HDMI port to work started crashing my heavier software and freezing my File Explorer and Microsoft Office applications. Also, heavier software refuses to open when the device is plugged in, but works fine when unplugged. Upgraded to 1 star because the device slows down your computer's performance.
