I recently purchased a set of soapstone serving plates for my restaurant and they have been a hit with customers! The unique soapstone material gives them an upscale, rustic look and keeps appetizers at the perfect temperature for extended periods of time. As my tests showed, they can withstand high temperatures without cracking or warping. Plus, they are easy to clean and maintain. Only downside is that they are a bit heavy to carry around for extended periods. Overall, great addition to my tabletop collection in my food service equipment and supplies inventory under the industrial and scientific category.
