Review on 🌱 100% Compostable Sugarcane Bagasse Plates | Eco-Friendly, Heavy Duty | 10 Inch, 100 Count by Mark Loebis

Durable plates, compostable

Products made from sugar cane and bamboo are more sustainable because they grow faster than trees. Nobody says, God, look at the cane. That must have been here in the Middle Ages, right? For that reason alone, I'm much more inclined towards sugarcane products than wood products. They're about as good as Chinet, my favorite brand before I found them. To be honest I usually double them for more power (same goes for Chinet) but they don't usually absorb. Even with non-dry foods, the bottom plate is usually clean when I check and I can save it for future use. It has to be really clean to put it back in the box, but sometimes I might put it aside to use later, for example, as a disposable chopping board, especially when I'm cutting meat.

Pros
  • Paper and plastic
Cons
  • Very expensive
