I won't go so far as to say that these are professional tools that I would use on a construction site, but I will have no problem wearing them to use at home. They are both accurate and seem reliable enough for homeowners needs. The quality is good, but I noticed that the Tic Tracer Pen's LED cover fell off the pen almost immediately. It didn't affect the tool's performance, I only recognize it as an indication of a budget tool. Sensitivity is comparable to my non-contact Klein "tick tracer" and it's easy to use. The socket tester is pretty good and it's easy to see if the wires are properly connected to the socket, or if there's a short and something isn't connected properly, the display will show the problem. It also shows how much mains voltage is present at the outlet, which is not a typical feature on most outlet testers. The backlit screen is bright and easy to read. All in all a solid set that does what it's supposed to.
