I bought these for my niece for her first birthday. She was already interested in jigsaw puzzles but finds it difficult to handle the usual small pins used for jigsaw puzzles at this age. These grips are very strong and she can easily pick them up and manipulate them. The overall size of the puzzles themselves were much larger than I expected (apparently I didn't pay close attention to the size before ordering) but they are fine for their small hands. The only thing to watch out for is that if a toddler decides to throw it, they can hurt themselves as it's such a solidly built puzzle (my niece's latest trick lol). not perfectly rectangular, so you have to put it back in the exact direction it comes out. In a triangle you can put any point in any corner. It might just be coincidence with what I have and it doesn't seem to bother my niece at all so I'm not worried. All in all, this is a great puzzle game that looks like it's going to take years to come.
