Review on πŸ“Έ Fujinon XF 50mm F1.0 R WR Lens by Adam Cummings

The low light lens I've been waiting for

Great focal length. The 70mm FOV equivalent which is my favorite and not common. Gives you more flexibility than 85mm for what I do and has my preferred compression level. I've never been a big fan of more compression than about 70mm. I find the faces look more natural but can still look like portraits. I photograph a lot of dark events that need the atmosphere and colors of the room so the flash isn't good. And thanks to this lens, I don't want to have a bigger sensor to work with. With this lens I can shoot big when I need little light, but even with an APS-C format camera I can use the tiny Fujicron f/2 when I need some light. I love this flexibility. Thank you, this is exactly what Fuji has wanted since they switched to Fuji many years ago. In terms of image quality, my copy is very sharp and I love the shots it takes. They have this quality that makes me want to shoot more. Thank you Fuji!
