Review on CalFlor Tile Fix Solution, FL49133 by Joseph Neal

So I had a pretty deep wound on slate floors and decided to try this CalFlor material because of its low price. I watched several videos on the Internet and carefully covered them with putty. I waited for it to dry (I have underfloor heating so it dries pretty quickly). Then I followed the instructions exactly. I made a light mix of gray that I covered with brown. I still couldn't see the wound so I was pretty happy. I had stains around the wound so I decided to wipe them off with a wet towel. DO NOT DO THAT! It just wiped all my paint off and I had to start over. I'm assuming I'll have to apply a varnish to make it hard. Anyway, I had to start from scratch. So it's nice to know that if you make a mistake, you can start over. So I started from scratch and I liked the result. . Then I apply a thin layer of varnish over it (thick layer makes the colors bleed) and first of all it dries. I plan on applying a few more coats on top to ensure I don't have to touch up when wiping. It's also fair to say that I was trained in drawing (e.g. portraits etc) so I know how to do it. Colour. I don't think you need drawing skills, but you do need to take your time and go from light to dark.
