I'm 5'7" and a size 16/18. I ordered the 2x and it fits. It's not super tight, but definitely not as loose as the pic. The fabric is very soft and stretchy. A bit on the thin side, but not too sheer. I have long legs and the bottom of the cuff fit right above my ankle, so just fine to wear down or scrunched up like the model. I'd order another. I could see how you might be able to dress it up with a jacket and heals, make it casual with flip flops and a hat. Very versatile. I might order a size up just to compare the fit.
