I don't understand why some reviews say they are not durable. They are as durable as single-use plastic cups and comparable to the ones you drink coffee from in a coffee shop. I feel like these mugs are overpriced — most deals on this mug and lid combo cost about the same — but if you're like my husband, who spends $5 on iced coffee every morning, this might help you make some money save up. ultimately without having to wash your reusable cup and straw every day (although reusable cups are definitely more environmentally friendly).
