This footrest fits well on my mountain bike. The shape of my tube matched the shape of the stand. My issue is that it goes up and down too straight, unlike the way most footpegs slope down towards the front of the bike. Because of the lack of angle, the footpeg wants to collapse and the bike is ready to crash. I've adjusted the height and moved it to different spots on the bike and it made little difference. I can see from the photos that many people have installed it from the back, myself included, and it has helped very little, if at all. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong, but I've tried many things to prevent it from crashing, to no avail. It's supposed to be straight, it's just a stand, but it holds my bike very unsteadily at best. In terms of quality, it works easily and seems to be a good and solid metal. There is nothing to complain about in terms of quality, only functionality.
