The list of functions is long, but it's really just a scanner. Every time I turn it on it shows an available update but when I click on it there is nothing to update. Then I tried the reset menu. I press reset brake then select a car, honda in my case then a window pops up asking me to update but the window is blank. I press update and it says to choose what to update and there is nothing to choose from. So I can't get any further with my reset. I emailed them but they mumbled something useless about not supporting this feature. But I guess it's a standard phrase when you don't know what to say. I wanted to upgrade to x431 but now I don't trust the launch brand anymore. So if you want to use the reset features, triple check if they are supported. I thought I could do more than just get codes, but I couldn't. Another reset function I've tried is the oil reset on the same Honda Pilot. Now he told me it's not supported and gave me instructions how to do it manually. The question is why did I buy this tool when I could find a guide for myself on the internet. That didn't work for me either.
