The overall quality of the cookware is satisfactory but I was disappointed that the fork has rounded tines like most children's forks on the market. I understand this is to prevent stinging for inexperienced users. For toddlers who are comfortable with utensils but not quite up to par with the adult version, forks, which are small and light but with relatively sharp teeth, are very helpful. Otherwise, puncturing the food can be very frustrating. In any case, the product photo shows the pointed tines on the fork. The fork we received in the kit does not have the pointed tines shown in the product photo and we already have a variety of children's round tine forks. The spoon is fairly shallow and is not suitable for eating other than baby food or applesauce. Difficult to use to eat porridge or cook a decent amount of soup with a spoon. boo
