Review on SmartSwipe Credit Card Reader for Personal Use by Xiaomeng Chang

SmartSwipe works great, even bought as a Christmas present. BUT.once major browsers start updating for security reasons etc., SmartSwipe will become "incompatible with this version". And the manufacturer suggests using an older browser! For this reason we have stopped using or recommending SmartSwipe as it may or may not keep up with updates to IE or FireFox and will not work with Chrome or iMAC. Based on total usage, IE is the worst browser and FireFox is the best. The whole idea is safe and FF is better in that regard and just generally faster. IE is clunky, slow and often freezes. Maybe someone else has a better idea for scanning secure home credit cards.
