We had to buy a size 5 for my 15 month old daughter who wears a size 4/4.5 on Vans. A size 4 in Native Shoes was too heavy for her small feet. It felt like we really had to squeeze them in; Legs are also not very thick. She could easily walk in them, even though they were a bit bigger.
