Pros: Works mostly as expected, easier to use, more options. A very strong magnet keeps them upright with no problem. Cons, most of them are minor nitpicks. . If you're just buying for light, you'll likely be disappointed. The bulb switch is not very good, a cheap contact switch. There is no positive feeling of contact. The switch is difficult to toggle on and off, you really have to press it. To change the batteries (2 x AAA) you have to loosen 2 screws and remove the device completely. There's a battery cover that you can put back on so it doesn't stick to other items. Can easily get lost. Wants me to do it again: A battery cover that flips open or otherwise attaches. The wire stand only has one position, wish it was in a different position or lay a little flatter.
