Review on Godox V1-C Canon Flash, 76Ws Round Head Flash Speedlight with 2.4G TTL, 1/8000 HSS, 480 Full Power Shots, 1.5s Recycle Time, 2600mAh Lithium Battery, 10 Level LED Modeling Lamp, Includes Pergear Color Filters by Sam Anez

I use a flash almost every day for real estate photography and also for an event I was photographing. PRO: Fast recycle time even at 100% flash. Solid battery life. The lightning spreads fairly evenly. Works great with the Godox X1 remote trigger system. Intelligent menu system. Overall decent build quality. CONS: By default this flash had a sync issue with Canon cameras, unfortunately I didn't know about this until I looked through my photos of the event I was photographing. The sync problem was fixed after a firmware update. The firmware update process is not an easy process, but that's not the flash's fault. The access panel covering the micro USB is flimsy and flimsy. I'm not thrilled with the build quality of the menu wheel. Conclusion: This is a fantastic flash for the price. I don't think this flash can compete with my trusty Canon 580ex, but the V1 is a welcome tool in my pocket. UPDATE: As of February 2021 (1.5 years of heavy use), the flash only works occasionally. Whether it's the camera, wireless triggering, or even pressing the "test flash" button, the flash fires about 60% of the time. It's still under warranty (2 years on Godox) and I've contacted the Pergear dealer with a warranty request. As soon as I get an answer I will update this review. So far I've really enjoyed using this flash. UPDATE PART II: At the end of February 2021 I contacted the Pergear seller about the warranty.
