Review on πŸŽ’ Versatile and Stylish Backpacks for Business and Day-to-Day Use: Rucksack Shoulder Daypacks by Hector Trung

The size given is NOT correct.

I am very dissatisfied with this order - the size listed is NOT correct. Otherwise a great backpack. However, I chose this particular item because I was looking for a backpack that would meet more stringent air travel standards (it was to be used as my "personal item" defined by Air France as a wallet, computer bag or whatever) . The maximum allowed dimensions are 16 x 12 x 6 inches. As you can see from the given measurements (10.63 x 14.96 x 5.51 inches), this backpack MUST be perfect. When I measured the backpack myself, it turned out to be 17 inches tall (2+ inches more than advertised). Now I have to decide whether I will modify the backpack somehow to make it fit or send it back. One area where Revain is NOT doing a good job is luggage. For example, salespeople routinely state the height of a suitcase without considering wheels or a protruding handle - where the airline (at least Air France and Ryan Air) does include them in the measurements, since they are part of the luggage, it doesn't help that the US norms are a bit looser.

Pros
  • This backpack is elegant and versatile with many pockets. Several inner pockets and four outer compartments, 2 zippered pockets in the front flap; two front zipped pockets under the flap, one large main zipped pocket equipped with 2 two-way zips and pull tabs: 1 inner zipped pocket; 1 laptop main compartment; 1 open pocket for iPad; an anti-theft back pocket, two side pockets. It's compact enough to keep your accessories organized.
