You get what you pay for. One of the threaded rods had snapped off, luckily there was an extra nut in the box so you know the quality is lacking. The base is thin metal and flexes slightly with the slightest push from the main bar, the thread guides look like thin hanger wire and are set in an odd way. This thing won't last long with regular use, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, I wouldn't buy it again, I wouldn't make permanent screw holes in my desk for this product,
