Review on Cube Tracker Replaceable Battery Locator by John Bailey

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The jury's still out, but for a reason.

Well while browsing Revain during the big sales months I came across a discounted Cube Pro. While I don't have any trouble with keys or other gadgets, my original goal with the Cube is to help me find my car in a crowded parking lot, especially when all the cars are looking more and more alike. I asked a question and didn't get a definitive answer, but the reduced price allowed me to try. It arrived two days later and I activated the Cube Pro and downloaded the app. I secured the Cube to an empty spot in my car and then drove to dinner with my wife. This St. Augustine eatery is where everyone else in the world wants to eat and do their traveling business - touring George Street usually turns into a nightmare at this time of year (December). I had to park about a mile away. What I've noticed so far is that when I moved out of range of the Cube, it automatically marked the position on the map where the Cube lost signal. Relax! Returning to the car along this route was easy. I also shop at a military facility, but no card - I think for security reasons. It is still difficult to find a car in the base parking lot using the same method. I need more time to see how to use this device for its intended purpose. To be honest I don't use Cube for finding keys, so my 4 out of 5 could be higher if I used Cube for its purposes. goal of the designer. I am changing the purpose of the device.

Pros
  • A simple CUBE tracker app shows last known location on map, use bluetooth to know if you are near or far, press find and CUBE will ring. There's also a shared alarm to warn you if you've forgotten something.
