i've unfolded it since i received it a few days ago but noticed spots where it looked like it had rolled too tight and the outer fabric had bunched up a bit stretched so it's not nice and flat. In terms of use, I don't seem to have any problem sliding my mouse over it, but it seems to be the exact size of my keyboard, so I have it so I can use it for both keyboard and mouse use around the keyboard of to dangle to the left. I'm using the full-size Lenovo keyboard with numpad. So if you have a smaller keyboard or a keyboard without a number pad on the side, it might be a better fit. I like it enough to keep it, but I know that after a while I plan to improve it and maybe give it to a family member because I want something bigger.
