PLASTIC appears to be of good quality and works well.
These are replacement parts but unless my windows were previously repaired they looked identical to the original parts. They need some LITHIUM GREASE to lubricate the rails they ride on. I replaced one in the driver's door in about 70 minutes, never done that before. BUY add-ons and replace BOTH every time you replace one. Save the one that didn't break for a spare.
