We've had it for 6 years now and it looks the same as the day we bought it. Our cats and dogs use it. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again. That was great. I wish the top step was stronger and the bottom step didn't slip. If the top step were twice as deep, the ladder could be placed to the side of the bed. A handle for the rug has been added to the bottom. My dog won't go on the top step if the steps are next to the bed. The top step is too narrow. You have to bet that the dog will go straight up the steps and onto the bed without turning around. It's a shame because they take up a lot of space that way. I hope she gets used to it quickly. The fabric is comfortable. They are durable and the stitching is very well finished.
