This is my second year using these, and they’re still going strong! I LOVE the long length that these come in; they allow for such easy installation. I used three strands to cover all of my bushes across the front - one on the left side and two connected on the right side. These are decent lights, but the options of settings are super weird. I prefer the soft fade in and out setting but these don’t really have that. Seizure mode, half the tree dark/slow blink, or just crazy blinking that speeds up. We ended up just leaving them all just staying on. It also doesn’t remember your settings so you have to go find it every time you plug them in.

The description lists a Twinkle setting within the 8 options it is programmed with… thats a damn lie. Pushed that button and sat there to watch every sequence and you only get "twinkling” for a good 5-10secs before it moves to flashing, then strobing in 3 types of ways. Every setting does this. Crap programming. I have it now sitting at the solid ON setting so it stops giving me strobe headaches. So mad. When I read the negative reviews on this site, I question if they read the description of the product. These lights are great. They work in a harsh environment perfectly (Maine). Pretty good set of lights overall. Nice and long. For reference, had a 13 foot tree and a single strand was able to cover the whole thing though a bit skimpy - a second set really filled it nicely. These are great lights. I used them outside in the bushes to highlight the St. Patrick’s Day decorations. The lights are bright, even during the day. The various settings are fun to change things up.

I will admit, I did not read the entire description on this light set. This set looks great, and I got the achieved look I was going for (a "stream" effect in my Christmas display). But this set has 2 disappointments1. the set defaults to the "demo" mode when unplugged and plugged back in. The color of these lights are great but that is about it. You can't plug another set into it, it's a stand alone set. Also the different blinking settings need to be set every time you turn it on. Once you turn it on its default setting isn't solid but a crazy blink that we didn't like otherwise we would have just left it solid. As others previously reported, the system defaults to flashing. So if you are plugged into a light sensing outlet, you have to go to the unit and push the button on the plug until you get the mode you want.

They were brighter than I expected! Look awesome up and definitely sticks out from the rest. Even through the weather they lasted great

No remote control, they are beautiful at night and have different modes. However they are mounted under the roof of my deck and really not sure about their weatherproof quality. Other than that I would purchase them again.

I bought these to wrap around our big oak tree in the front yard, they were amazing at first, and super bright, it lit up the whole yard. But after only 1 week of use, the lights failed. The lights are good, but the controller is old school.it does not have a memory function like almost all other lights today do. What this means is that every time you unplug the lights or turn off power to them, they will revert to a flashing state, not what you had set previously. The lights work great and it was able to store my preferred light setting. They must have made an improvement as now you can have the lights come on with your desired light setting. I have mine on a dusk to dawn timer and they seem to store the desired setting. I tested them without the timer and I changed the settings, unplugged the lights overnight and plugged them back in and it remembered the light setting. I did this test multiple times on multiple settings and they worked just fine. I…

The lights looked great and were a nice quality. My only knock on them was when the lights are hooked to a timer, it does not stay on the setting you had them on. So every night I would have to get under the tree and choose the setting I wanted.

I love all the different ways you can use from wavy, to solid and six other ways.Also love that I only have to deal with one strand.

I set a moderate price in my mind, and purchased these lights. They are good lights, not issues, but the mosted noted feature was that as I put up the hooks around the ceiling I kept enrolling more lights as if it was a magicians magic hat. Lots of lights for the price.
