Review on Stylish LianSan Titanium Rimless Eyeglasses for Men and Women - 2 Pairs Reading Glasses in Purple & Silver 8013 by David Richardson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

1 year later and still "The most comfortable reading glasses I've ever had. "

These glasses come in a durable textured plastic clamshell case and come with a small cleaning cloth delivered. The glasses themselves weigh 12.5 grams. They are very light and comfortable. I bent the earcups slightly to straighten them so the point of contact with the top of my ears was closer to the end of the earcup - otherwise no adjustments. For me there is no risk of the glasses falling off, even if I look straight down and shake my head. The metal temples and nose attach to the lenses by threading two metal pins through the lenses and holding them in place with a melted plastic retainer. The frame is 100% solid. The metal is flexible enough that I don't think it puts a lot of pressure on the joint. I wear them 8 days at work and at home where I put them on and take them off about 5 times a day. I use Foster Grant aluminum eyes, which are becoming increasingly difficult to find. These LianSan glasses are a bit more comfortable and I even forget I'm wearing them. I also like how they look. The purple ones look a little less conservative and I'm keeping them at home, but that's just me, the color isn't bright. The clarity of the lenses is excellent and they don't attract a lot of dust. They have become my favorite reading glasses. Update 08/31/2017: Still the best for me. It's been a little over a year since I started wearing the Liansan Rimless Titanium reading glasses. I wear them every day at work and then every day at home when I'm working on the computer. They remain the lightest and most comfortable reading glasses I have ever had. I put them on and off maybe 5-10 times a day and the spots where the metal meets the lenses stay completely solid. There is no looseness or play. I try to only hold the lens and not the frame when cleaning the lenses to avoid stress on the joint. The lenses remain scratch-free, but again, I'm working on keeping them that way. For cleaning I use Windex and a microfiber terry towel. The towel is no longer used for anything. A few small things (minus is too strong a word). 1) Due to their design, they are difficult to put on with one hand. 2) The soft plastic nosepieces became a bit sharp on the side that connects to the frame, which sometimes scratched a bit when putting the glasses on. A few seconds with one of those black nail files did the trick. Just in case, I ordered a second set of 2.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
