WOW! I didn't know how much this would help me, but it's exactly what I needed. I work in the Digital Broadcasting Team and many sporting events, local outdoor events etc. I have a Canon VIXIA HF R800 mounted on a rail system with boom mic and light source. Basically, you're unlikely to be able to see the camera screen without something else, but installing it with a different mechanism makes that impossible. Installed this monitor and it was like night and day. I really see what I'm recording. I think this is great for my needs and has improved my shots. You can't go wrong with this monitor and for the price it's excellent. When broadcasting football or baseball games, the battery lasts more than three hours with me. The screen shows what you are recording and everything is clear. I see what I want and don't even notice any lag, which is a problem when shooting fast-paced sports. One of the best purchases I've made. Don't hesitate, get this monitor and you will be amazed.
