This mask is made from knitted silk so it doesn't feel like traditional silk but is very comfortable on the face. I have asthma and LOTS of skin issues so I can't wear traditional masks at all. It's also very breathable. However, it does not offer optimal protection, which is why I bought plastic face shields as an extra layer of protection to wear with this mask. I also love that it comes in different colors/patterns to match your outfit. You can also wear it as a scarf when not using it as a mask. I like it a lot and bought 4 of them.
