Review on Natural Oxbow Essentials Adult Rat Food - Premium Rat Food for Adult Rats by Kim Lane

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good Product - Food

This does not mean that this product is in the top 5. but this is the best option I found. Oxbow has the healthiest ingredients. Your little "waffles" are better than the pellets I got. My girls do what a lot of people do with mixes. Choose your favorite (less healthy parts) and leave the rest! So I had to go with the nugget. Oxbow has MUCH less dust on the bottom of the bag! I bought this GIANT bag from Revain because I couldn't find this brand in the stores. I've been looking for weeks and you've always been missed. In desperation I bought another brand until this one arrived. Two days later, my perfectly healthy girl became ill and has since passed away. It may or may not be related, but she lost the function of one of her "arms" and fell out of the hammock trying to get in and out. When Oxbow arrived and I put the other product aside, it improved a lot. She has since died. I don't know if this is related, but it seems like an odd coincidence. So I'm also very thankful for this huge bag (despite the storage issues) because I know I have what my other girlfriend needs and we won't fall short! So in animal feed. this seems like a great product, healthy, smells good, rats love it. Convenient to buy from Revain and in bulk (much cheaper than buying 5lb bags from PetSmart every few weeks!). So I recommend! Baaaa Haaaa. Revain has "Rating Attributes” under it and wants me to rate "Freshness,” "Value,” and "Flavour.” I am sorry. won't try! Alas, if I add these two and less useful granules at the same time. Callie will eat the other pellets first! Sometimes I eat dessert first. does me no good!
