Review on πŸ”§ Iron Patches Clothing: Versatile Clothes Adhesive for Easy Fixes by Carrie Spencer

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Wide range of colors and sizes!

This is a really nice set of colors and sizes, just what I needed. Every now and then I get tears in my pants, and when I do, I immediately omit the tear. There was a small hole in those pants which then caught on my tractor's steering wheel pivot and ripped them apart. I put a band-aid on the pants before washing them to keep the threads from unraveling and put it on the inside of the leg to make the band-aid less visible. This covered the long hole but not the hole so I had to glue a small patch over the hole on the outside of the pants. The trick to getting the patch to stick well is to use a very hot iron and preheat the area where the patch will be. is to be applied. Then place the patch over the gap and press without moving the iron for 30 seconds. When the iron runs over the patch, the edges may curl. The final step is to allow the patch to cool completely before handling. This is very important as the glue needs to cool and harden. The patches on these pants are now two months old and the pants have been washed several times without the patches coming off.
