Review on Bridgestone Alenza 001 235/55 R19 101 year old by Boguslawa Fein ᠌

One of the best offers, glad I bought it.

For a long time I chose new tires for my Mercedes GLK in size 235/50 19. Regular Conti4x4Contact for 20,000 years of run is very worn out, subject to a fairly quiet ride. I read reviews about Nokian and other Continental models, the reviews are good, but everyone unanimously writes that wear is sooooo fast, and it’s expensive, giving 40,000r every 2 years for rubber. For me, the norm is if the rubber runs 3 seasons, subject to my total average mileage of 30,000-40,000 per year. I decided to try something new from Bridgestone. Balanced well, rubber does not jump. Quite heavy. The sidewall is not oak, but quite stiff compared to Nokian and Continental. I drove confidently along the Hong Kong Ring Road in the rain, rebuilt without noticing rutting and aquaplaning. It's a little noisy, but it doesn't bother me at all. I reset the fuel consumption figures to compare later. They promise that it will be more economical and last a long time - we'll see). Adding a review: I went to the Crimea on this rubber. Caught big holes. Not a single hernia! Without punctures! Super road holding! The noise is gone. At least the cost hasn't gone up. Take it boldly, rubber is worth the money.

Pros
  • Sidewall is hard. They promise durability. Track and water in the track - rushing like on rails. Made in Japan.
Cons
  • Noise a little.
