I have a 12 year old 333vs that has served me very well on many of my woodworking projects and this 382 is just as well built and reliable as the 333vs. I don't do industrial woodworking, just a hobby: sanding countertops, cabinet sides, countertops, shelves and other small things. I replaced the 8-hole sanding pad with a 5-hole sanding pad (easy to do, just three screws) because I had a sizable stash of different types of Mirka 5-hole sandpaper and it worked really well. I also removed the dust bag and easily attached the 1" hose from my industrial vacuum, which is absolutely essential to your health. Overall, this grinder is very powerful and beautifully finished, matching the build quality of my 333vs, which me more than triple of the price. As for durability, I'll have to update this review in a few months to report back. Buy this item, it's great!
