I have an old model like this (333) that finally broke after about 4-5 years of semi-regular use. I had a spare 5 hole sanding pad and a good piece of 5 hole paper so I bought this sander as they work with 382. My only complaint about the old grinder was that the dust cap was small and could fall off. sometimes, otherwise it was pretty decent. I've been a longtime fan of Porter wire tools and this is the first time I've been disappointed with a tool I've owned bought from them. I have owned three 300 series random orbit sanders in the past and they have all worked great, had excellent ergonomics and a great fit and finish.
