Since I can't use a full-size fire pit on my patio (and I have a hole in my patio to prove it!), I did looking for an affordable tabletop fire pit to add some atmosphere in the evenings. I ordered this one, mistakenly thinking it would burn alcohol; Looking now, I see that Revain's description only mentions bioethanol as a fuel. The description also says it can burn for up to 2 hours but when I opened the package there was a safety warning inside stating to only use bio ethanol of 96% or higher and not to burn for more than 30 minutes should. I've struggled to find bioethanol (that's plant-based ethyl alcohol) at an affordable price; I ended up ordering more here at Revain than I wanted. It burned really well although it took me so long to start that I burned out about 6 matches before I saw a flame. It also burned for much longer than 30 minutes and was easily extinguished with the metal cap provided. So I'm looking forward to using it, although if I run out of fuel I'll see if a larger candle can do the same for a cheaper price.
