Hello: Well I have used the EWCS wire many times. This wire immediately seemed to me today too small for 4 AWG. So I took it out of the box and compared it to another 4 gauge wire I have. Tell me. Looks like a 6 caliber. I measured it with a ruler as I don't have a caliber of my own. 3/16" at best, but closer to 2/16" or about 5mm. The printing on the wire isn't what I usually see on EWCS wire and there's no indication on the AWG sheath. I have contacted Revain with a discrepancy and this cable will be returned. Check out the photos for yourself. I recently ordered 0 gauge EWCS wire and it is 0 gauge so I am disappointed to have to deal with it.
