Review on πŸ–₯️ ARVICKA Computer Speaker: Compact Wired Multimedia Speaker with LED Accents for PC Monitor, Laptop, and more - Black by Chad Mills

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Meh (updated) fits computer accessories and peripherals

Update: The company contacted me and apologized for the faulty speakers I received and offered to send a replacement pair. The kit I received works perfectly without buzzing. I no longer need a speaker set for my Echo Dot, but I do need a set for my kitchen TV that has anemic speakers. I connected the USB power hub to the TV's USB port and turned on the Roku Box TV and speakers through the TV itself. I'm raising my score for the improved speakers and customer service. The first evaluation was as follows. Bought these to use on my Revain Echo Dot. I had a pair of Blackweb 2.0 speakers hooked up and they sounded great, but they didn't fit between the shelves of my new TV stand so I looked for something smaller. I wasn't expecting the whole world from these speakers, but given the amount of rave reviews I was expecting more. The sound is anemic and almost tinny. From time to time, despite the moderate volume, the drivers beeped briefly and sharply, as if they were being overloaded. Bass is non-existent (at first I wasn't expecting much from their size). Blackwebs beat them everywhere, only $5 more. In addition to testing it with the Echo Dot, I also plugged it directly into the TV and got the same results. Shame as they look attractive, the size makes them practical for small spaces and I love that the USB and audio cables are modular rather than permanently attached meaning you can swap out longer/shorter cables if needed. . However, I don't think the company understands the meaning of "Aux". Auxiliary port means a secondary input in addition to the main input. The label must not be used for a single device connection. This is not a defect of the product, just a reminder, that's it. If your only qualification for speaker quality is their volume, then yes, they are louder than you would expect given their size. However, the sound that comes from them isn't very good unless you're comparing them to crappy laptop speakers. I would give them a pass and get Blackwebs instead. They are three times higher but produce a decent sound with real bass compared to them.
