In general the brushes are not bad. They came like the picture and there were really 10 of them. The first thing I did after taking them out of the packaging was to clean them up with my regular makeup brush cleaner and one of those rubber pads. Some brushes lost a few bristles, but that's okay. However, the brush, which they described as a "tapered blending brush," falls off ridiculously. Literally a third of the bristles came out.
