I bought them because they are purple. I knew it was a stupid reason to buy something, but I'm old and spoiled. In general the brushes are not bad. They came like the picture and there were really 10 of them. The first thing I did after taking them out of the packaging was to clean them up with my regular makeup brush cleaner and one of those rubber pads. Some brushes lost a few bristles, but that's okay. However, the brush, which they described as a "tapered blending brush," falls off ridiculously. Literally a third of the bristles came out.

These brushes are not only beautiful but also work better than most of my known brands. You collect so much product with little return! It was a total rip off I got them in the mail today and each one was broken but of course they made sure to put the little pieces in there too. I think in case I wanted to glue the parts of the product I bought it as a complete product and not part of a product! The brushes are soft but hard. The whole brush is smeared with glue and I wouldn't recommend washing these brushes, only when you pick them up you can feel how flimsy they are.
