I like this battery monitor and it is very accurate. That's 1/4 the cost of Victron but without Bluetooth. I bought the 350A version and my shunt appears to be 500A. I'm not sure if there is a "350A" shunt and it's just a marketing ploy. I believe they only have 150A and 500A shunts and sell them in various current configurations. As a general rule, your maximum current should be at least 25% below the maximum power of your shunt. Shunts can overheat and change resistance when overloaded. Even with a high capacitance shunt, the resolution drops off in the mA range and is reasonably sensitive and accurate. It can detect when my BMS is in balancing mode which draws around 30mA. Highly recommended if you don't need data logging or bluetooth.
