Took just over a month
The lamp has been working fine for just over a month and today the screen suddenly dimmed dramatically. Then the TV started to turn off, presumably due to a bad contact in the lamp. I haven't yet recycled the old lightbulb that replaced this one, so I reinstalled the old lightbulb and the TV works fine - so the problem is clearly with that lightbulb, not the TV.
