Nice item, suitable for fish and aquatic animals
I live in a "glass house" which means my biOrb gets lots of sunlight and therefore lots of algae! I used this in combination with erasing the entire sphere. I didn't realize it wasn't meant for "permanent use". I had the same success by completely cleaning the tank and just replacing the regular cartridge. Orb is quite expensive to maintain - why raise the cost?
