For short term use only, straps break in the sun

I have used them to mount security cameras etc. in trees in South Florida. I just got out and found a device held by two of these straps hanging from some kind of wire. Both straps came apart. Upon further investigation, I found that I could easily undo the straps with a slight tug. I know they're cheap, and that's why you're getting this. They stood in the sun for more than a year and then broke.
