I bought these because I thought my daughter would love them as she likes to stack. She did it defiantly, as did my older children. I admit that I may have played with them a little more than I thought. This set comes in a good range of sizes and colours. I suggest you get a container to keep them. Repacking the box to smoothly close the lid requires some effort. I'm even considering buying another set! We have some stuff in a zip bag so we can take the places we need. These are pretty quiet blocks of light, when they fall it's not that terribly loud compared to other blocks. I'm also less worried about them hurting my baby if they fall on her arms or legs while playing. They don't occur because they don't have sharp edges. My daughter loves tactile games and they are great for this. I highly recommend this. They seem expensive, but making them yourself takes a very long time, and buying natural ones and painting them yourself - again, it takes a lot of time with all the faces. The paint is clean and smooth on all - it's worth it!
