Update: We've been on a trip and these devices are still working. The cables connecting them were shared but they still work so I may need to invest in a professional install. Original Rating; I bought 2 for my kids in anticipation of a trip. I got used to VW and installed permanent options in the car returned by VW, so I wanted something less expensive and I didn't have to pay for the installation. I was able to install myself relatively easily. I would recommend that you watch the installation videos as they were helpful. The mirroring setup video didn't help as it doesn't show where to connect the cables to the actual device. I finally figured it out, but I've spent too much time looking on YouTube. I contacted the seller and he was unable to provide written information and referred me to You Tube. Both devices worked for DVD and now dub DVD. I haven't tried the game or other input methods. I give 2 stars because of the lack of written instructions and because the headset eats batteries. Take a lot of AA batteries with you for a long journey or connect them directly to the audio cable. Those of you with young children and travelers know what a problem extra cables can be!
