Review on 10-Year Battery Talking Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Alarm: FIRST ALERT BRK PRC710V - White by Edward Mcnamara

Purchased. I followed the installation instructions exactly. It wasn't activated when I installed it. Revain immediately replaced him. The second didn't work either. Called First Alert Support. The tech had me check the disable tab on the back, which was the suspected problem. After checking it she told me it should work but it still won't activate. The battery has not expired. Neither unit was ever activated. Conclusion: I tried two of them and none of them activated. Buy something else.
