Good for fire escape

In my case, it was no way to attach the ladder to a window without this hooks. Its perfect for fire escape through window. May require regular inspections to maintain functionality.

Necessary and multifunctional

I bought these ladder as a gift to my relatives, though they use it for other purposes. In any case they liked the present. The rope ladder is very good quality with strong safety hooks. I think this kind of ladders should be in every home for safety reasons

I wouldn’t use this for a tree house or a deck where it doesn’t rest against a wall.

This probably would work to escape an upstairs window where it rests against a wall. It is way too unstable to use to descend from a upstairs deck or tree house.

Know your fire escapes

If you have a 16' drop from your master bedroom window you need this ladder if ever you need to escape fire raging up the stairs.

Very good escape ladder

It cam sooner than expected which was nice. Packaged very nicely. Took it for a "test" run off the balcony and it worked great. One wish is that they would offer this ladder with "window" hooks as a package. For now I will use it without buying the hooks, but if it had been a package, yes it should cost more, I would have bought it that way just to give myself options.

Quality and Safety first

Since we moved to a new house purchasing an emergency fire escape ladder was a must. Didn’t want to risk it with any other American brand ladders and decided to go with the original isop ladders for their safety.

the yellow step rolls under foot.

Strong, and well made. But the yellow step that cover the rope, rolls under foot causing an unsteady footing. Very scary.

Not easy to attach to a balcony

Would be great if it could easily be attached to a balcony, the rungs, ect seem very sturdy but it seems to be made for escaping directly from inside the home via a window or sliding glass door & down the side of the building. Not sure there is a viable option for using it from an open balcony.
