I wouldn’t use this for a tree house or a deck where it doesn’t rest against a wall.

This probably would work to escape an upstairs window where it rests against a wall. It is way too unstable to use to descend from a upstairs deck or tree house.

Awesome for what i needed it for. I had to get inside a oil tank from the top and the hole was to small for regular ladders this helped me get back out or is been stuck.
